I’m rounding up my favourite Canadian activewear brands of fall 2020, including my go-to outfits from each, promo codes, and the sizes I wear!
Leading up to the holidays, A Sculpt Body will be featuring primarily Canadian activewear brands in workout videos. We are all about supporting local as much as possible, especially with the struggles 2020 has brought to businesses and the economy. I encourage you to do the same!
1. MPG Sport
This is a Canadian sustainable activewear brand that makes their apparel from recycled ocean waste. I wear this brand a lot (and love so many things!!), but this is my favourite set right now. I love how this Top (I wear a size S) is a little longer than a regular sports bra for more coverage, but still cropped for those sweaty workout days. These Leggings are great too – though they fit tight, so I recommend sizing up on these (I normally wear a S in MPG, but would get a M in these). Use code ASCULPT25 for 25% off.
2. Free Flow Active
Free Flow is another Canadian sustainable activewear brand makes their apparel from recycled ocean waste – and it’s also female owned (which you know I love!). I love this simple and classic set. This Sports Bra (size S) is supportive and flattering for a larger bust, and these Leggings (size S) are great for both working out and lounging. I also love the Big Sur Bodysuit, I feel like cat woman when I wear it (also size S, though if you’re tall I recommend sizing up). The best part? 3. Sweat Chic
Thirdly, Sweat Chic is a female-owned Canadian luxury activewear boutique that carries amazing brands that are typically hard to find in Canada, like this Varley set. Both the sports bra and leggings are insanely soft – the fabric feels like butter! I recommend sizing up in the Sports Bra if you are busty (I am wearing a S here, I could have probably done the M), but staying true to size with the Leggings (I am wearing a S).
4. Azur
The colours of this brand are everything!! Think bubble gum pink, mint, sky blue & lots more. Azur is a great brand if you want to POP in your workout outfits, or want a feel-good outfit that doesn’t feel too serious. This is the set I own: Sports Bra (size S), and matching high-waisted Leggings (size S), both same style but different colour as I am wearing.
5. Barbell Behaviour
Lastly, I recommend this brand for women with smaller busts who want to emphasize them a little more (I find this set to me a little low for me, but if you want to go this route then power to you!!).
