this comment is everything!! i couldn’t have sai this comment is everything!! i couldn’t have said it better myself. the more we fill our lives with joy- family, friends, laughter, adventure, presence, purpose- the less pressure we feel to shrink ourselves to fit some outdated idea of what society calls “discipline” or “perfection”. of course, we can still take great care of ourselves with movement, nourishing food, mindfulness, rest… but it’s about letting go of the unhealthy obsession around our bodies. bc the version of our bodies that lets us live fully- have fun, feel peace, stay present- is the one we’re meant for.
